Public-Private Partnerships for Digital Development - Nextrade CEO Presents at European Parliament

Nextrade CEO Kati Suominen discussed with the members of the European Parliament's Development Committee key priorities for Aid for Trade, particularly digitization. She discussed key policy priorities for driving ecommerce development in developing countries, and on ways in which public and private sectors can effectively work to drive digital trade worldwide. She also stressed the importance of aligning Europe's own trade and tax policies such as on VAT and customs de minimis, with the development agenda. See her PPT here.
