Nextrade CEO launches Alliance for eTrade Development with USAID, 3 U.S. companies
Business for eTrade Development, nonprofit run by Nextrade CEO Kati Suominen, today launched "Alliance for eTrade Development", a new public-private partnership to drive ecommerce development around the world.
The initial members of the Alliance are USAID, King & Spalding, Google, and PayPal, and Business for eTrade Development. eBay and Fedex are also supporting.The first project centers on creating a policy roadmap and best practices countries can apply to help their SMEs take better advantage of global ecommerce and payment platforms for trade.
